What does a TT geek do with a smart phone?

A TT geek realizes that smart phones now have accelerometers built in and downloads an accelerometer app. The the TT geek swings his smart phone like he is looping a ball and records the acceleration in 3 axes X, Y and Z.

Settling into the groove of the twiddling

Played double inverted player named Max at home today for a good 5 hour session. I was so happy that it was so long.

He was frustrated with the small space but I think we both play equally better with larger spaces so it shouldn't mean much in outcomes.

At first up in the warm ups I thought he was going to pulverise me as I hadn't played him for over a year and was thumping his loops in real fast and spinny. However once we got into game play, we both settled into old territory of playing each other.

close to table play against a forehand pip smasher.

Had a decent session yesterday playing at home. Tony a player from Tuesday and Thursday social play at BTTA came around for a close to table hit.

Most the games were very close. He only took a few off me.

He uses tenergy 05 on the backhand of Butterfly Schlager and full sponged 729 medium pip on forehand. This makes for some very difficult play. Basically if he gets time for a full powered forehand shot I only block back 20% as the pips make it dam hard for me.
