Which glue to use with Tenergy?

How to glue Tenergy? Can I speed glue Tenergy?

It doesn't matter what kind of blade you are using, the answer is the same.  Butterfly thinks you should use their water glue.  You can use any table tennis company's water glue, however, the quality of the glue is different.

I even use speed glue because I find it has the most consistant smooth finish.  It also comes off the blade and repositions the best.  Of course it dries the fastest as well.

One thing to note when glueing, don't cut the rubber too close to the blade, leave a little overhang, because tenergy has been reported to have a bit of shrinking with time.

tearmender

I've had great success with a waterbased glue called Tearmender.

I haven't had any shrinking problems with tenergy yet.

How to glue tenergy rubber

If you want to know how to glue Tenergy, just remember it glues like any other table tennis rubber. the only difference is that its sponge is more porous so you may need a little more glue to make sure it stays on.

Magic Eraser

I use Magic Eraser foam to spread the glue. it is clean and efficient way to apply glue to a table tennis racket. The glue is spread more evenly and with much less of a mess. I also use it to clean the rubbers with purified water after each session of play.

Adhesive compounds and epoxies

Has anyone tried making their own adhesives or using various hardware compounds such as sealants and things that give beautiful wood Finishes on their table tennis blades and or rubbers? Some oils players use for a kind of speed glue effect and some epoxies I think they use to seal and harden the top veneers. Anyway these are all to innovative bonding solutions that I don't think I will bother with.
